4 Step Prep
Step 1: Remove Small Items , window coverings and wall hangings
Your favorite knickknacks and family photos will need to be removed from the room. Any window treatments that are attached to trim that will be painted or otherwise cover parts of the wall or trim should be taken down.
You will want to remove anything hanging on the walls and the hardware used to secure it to the walls. Don’t worry about holes, our process includes filling those and doing minor patches and rapairs as part of our service.
Step 2: Roll up Rugs and stow them out of the way
Taking rugs out of the room will make it easier to move furniture around if needed. Speak to the estimator about leaving large rugs if needed. We do cover the floors upon preparation for every job, so you may be able to skip this step.
Step 3: Taping and Covering the Space
As part of our process, we tape the trim and cover the floors and furniture. We know that accidents happen and are prepared to be properly covered in case one occurs.
Step 4: Take a step back and inspect our work
We will ask you to walk through the room with us and inspect the work. This final walk-through is an opportunity to point out any areas that need attention and receive your touch-up paint to keep on hand in case of minor scuffs
Once you approve, we will clean up all protective coverings and tape that is left.
